"Once On This Island" is based upon the novel "My Love, My Love" by Rosa Guy . Steve Black directs this exuberant, dance-filled production featuring a hugely talented cast of local young people, with music direction by Lianne Goodwin and choreography by Alex DeLeo.

July 24 - 26 at 8:00pm July 31 - August 1 at 8:00pm August 2 at 2:00pm and 8:00pm at the Marblehead Little Theatre 12 School Street, Marblehead TICKETS $20 ONLINE, $25 AT THE DOOR Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris is a cabaret style musical filled with passionate solos, lively trios and amazing lyrics. Song after song addresses life's issues in moving poetry and soaring melodies. A number of the songs were written in the aftermath of WW II and express Brel's picture of the cost of war. The love songs break your heart and make you laugh.

The song best known is "If We Only Have Love" - an anthem to healing the wounds of the world.

This production will have a core cast of Little theatre favorites as well as guest singers at each performance.

MLT Children's Theatre Summer Program

Announcing the “Seussical, The Musical” Summer Program for Kids! August 3rd to 14th, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Director: Henry Dembowski Program Director: Lynda Hebert-Johnson Music Director: Amanda Roeder

Registration is underway for Marblehead Little Theatre’s new two-week summer program for kids. This exciting opportunity for children ages 10-17 will run weekdays from August 3-14 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. (extended hours available). Under the direction of Henry Dembowski, kids will learn the choreography, dialogue, and music for “Seussical, The Musical.”

Performances for family and friends will be held August 15th and16 th. Rehearsals and performances will take place at the air-conditioned Marblehead Little Theatre, 12 School Street, Marblehead.
